Nokia 2 Might have Appeared on Geekbench

Instead of any code name, Geekbench refers to the handset by the placeholder name “Unknown Heart”, without any trace of Nokia 2. However, if the recently leaked specs are to be believed as Nokia 2, then its release might get unveiled shortly. As per Geekbench, the “Unknown Heart” (alleged Nokia 2) is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.27 GHz.

As per the previous leaks, Nokia 2 was anticipated to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 system-on-chip (SoC), it suggests that the upcoming smartphone might be powered by the second version of the chip that released in 2015 which is the Snapdragon 212 housing four ARM Cortex-A7 cores clocked at up to 1.3 GHz.

Under the hood, the device sports 1 GB of RAM alongside 891 MB of memory. However, the motherboard feature is still on an ‘unknown’ stage. Furthermore, the spotted device on Geekbench suggests itself run Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. In a single core test, Nokia 2 has scored 422 points, whereas talking about multicore benchmarks, the smartphone company scored 1,146 points. Moreover, in multiple of memory tests, it has managed to stay between  750 to 850 points.

The Finnish company, HMD Global is developing Nokia devices with immense hard work, and so far has revealed four Nokia phones- the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and Nokia 8. But with other reports, the tech conglomerate is currently testing the Nokia 2 device in the benchmarking tool ahead of the release by the end of 2017.

Previously we have reported a leaked image from China which appeared as a comparison render of Nokia 2 and Nokia 3. Design wise, Nokia 2 may sport a similar 5-inch screen, identical to that of Nokia 3. Alongside, the handset might come without a fingerprint sensor. The overall display of Nokia 2 might appear to be rounded.
