The Finnish tech giant HMD is currently working for Nokia smartphones to regain Nokia‘s lost fame. But rumor mills run faster than time. Thus we have been offered with another much-wanted report. The company is now in the process to launch Nokia 8 very soon.
According to reports, Nokia 8 has been pre-planned to get unveiled next month on August 16. This very information was leaked after HMD sent invites to members of the press. With the Nokia 8 release, HMD is going to debut itself to launch the first Nokia smartphone after it took over the brand.
On the contrary, the reported information didn’t hint us exactly about the Nokia 8 flagship, but the event will showcase a milestone for Nokia-branded handsets. However, the flagship smartphone has not been unveiled publicly by the manufacturer, but indications including rumors and leaks of key specs tease the smartphone to be none other than Nokia 8.
As per design, Nokia 8 is speculated to sport a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. Alongside, below the display, Nokia 8 will be embedded with a home button and capacitive navigation buttons. The smartphone will roll out with a fingerprint scanner on the home button.
Imaging aspects leak some interesting optical technology used for Nokia 8 camera. With an inclusion of a dual-LED flash, the smartphone will sport two vertically arranged rear cameras where both of them will be of the 13-megapixel variety. Nokia 8 smartphone is expected to be unveiled in four color variants- Blue, Silver, Gold, and Copper. Previously today, we have reported about Nokia 8 getting leaked, yet again, in a Copper variant.
Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat (which is expected to be similar to the vanilla version of the OS), Nokia 8 is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 chipset from Qualcomm equipped with eight 64-bit cores. The device is expected to come with a 6 GB or an 8 GB of RAM alongside 64 GB of internal storage.
