Acer has brought its popular gaming laptop, the Acer Predator Helios 300, to India for Rs 1,29,999. We had earlier covered the Acer Predator Triton 700 and the Predator Helios 300 when they were introduced. That the new gadget has been brought to India so quickly indicates the growing recognition of the gaming enthusiasts in India and the devices that they prefer.

The Acer Predator Helios 300 makes for a great gaming laptop and makes all the right noises. On board, this gaming laptop has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display along with two features designed exclusively for gaming enthusiasts: Dolby Audio Premium together with Acer TrueHarmony. These two features will come together for the ultimate gaming audio experience, Acer states.
Powering the Predator Helios 300 is the very latest seventh generation Intel Core i7 (7700HQ) with another option having the Intel i5 processor (7300HQ). Both these options will come mated with the overclockable Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or 1050Ti GPU
Promising a superior gaming experience is the presence of up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, also upgradable to up to 32GB. This mammoth memory capacity will work in tandem with a 256GB SATA SSD and 1TB HDD hard drives. In case you wish to upgrade either the memory or storage components, there is a handy access compartment door on the notebook’s bottom which you can use.
The hallmarks of a great gaming laptop are great connectivity options. The new Predator Helios 300 has a USB 3.1 Type-C port, besides a USB 3.0 port which will feature power-off USB charging.
