Alcatel has been on a roll recently as it continues to unveil decent devices. Days ago, it released the Alcatel A5 HD which had many great features and Android Nougat support. We have already reported on the Alcatel A7 previously. Now, the same device has been spotted on GFXBench, which has revealed some of the most crucial specs and features.
From what we learned from the listing on GFXBench, the new handset will carry the model number Alcatel 5090. The new Alcatel A7 will boast of a very good 5.5-inch full HD display that has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels as well as 5 finger gesture support for better control. Under the hood is a MediaTek MT6750T 1.5 GHz octa-core processor which will ensure better touch control while we expect two models of the device to make its way to the market: one with 3GB of RAM and another with 4GB RAM, the latter of which is destined to be the more premium version.
Also on board is 32GB of internal/native storage; a total of 24GB is reserved for the user’s benefit. The octa-core processor will run in tandem with the Mali T860 GPU and the software is Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The new Alcatel A7 will have a 16MP rear/primary camera which has an LED flash for better photography. Also on board is an 8-megapixel front snapper. The GFXbench listing also shows off some of the connectivity features: these include Bluetooth, GPS, and WiFi among others. Some of the Alcatel A7‘s sensors include an accelerometer, a gyroscope, besides light sensors for better photography, and a proximity sensor.
The popular leakster Roland Quandt recently shared some frontal pictures of the Alcatel A7. Here is the interesting part: while the press renders do not show it, Quandt claims that the device will have a dual camera setup. Quandt has also pinned a price tag for the Alcatel A7: 250 Euros or approximately USD 294/Rs 18,999.
