Xiaomi has recently made its Xiaomi Mi A1 official. With certain reports, that’s not the ultimate go-gaga news for the tech enthusiasts. Reaching heights in the tech world, Xiaomi has managed to manufacture some excellent smartphones in the recent past. With this current news, we have come across a budget friendly Xiaomi smartphone, the Xiaomi MCT3B, to get spotted on TENAA, the website of Chinese certification commission.
Surfaced as Xiaomi MCT3B, the modest features hints likely at the device to the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 5A. From the report, the upcoming smartphone is going to weigh about 137 grams. The device measures a dimension of 140.44 x 70.14 x 8.35 mm. Xiaomi’s alleged Redmi 5A with model number MCT3B has appeared on TENAA featuring 5-inch TFT display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
The device’s HD display is quite similar to what was offered with the Redmi 4A. But one may note that the Redmi 4A device sports an IPS LCD screen while on the contrary, the alleged Redmi 5A surfaced as Xiaomi MCT3B comes with a TFT screen. Xiaomi fans may find it interesting to note that the device surfaced as MCT3B does not sport a fingerprint sensor. On that note, there is a vivid possibility of the smartphone to be a successor to Xiaomi’s Redmi 5A.
This smartphone is spotted to run the Android 7.1.2 operating system and will be housed with a 1.4 GHz processor. As per memory specs, the smartphone comes with a default storage of 32 GB which is further expandable up to 128 GB by using a microSD card slot. The Xiaomi MCT3B is powered by a battery of 3,000 mAh capacity. Other connectivity features also include dual-SIM, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE and more.
For the time being, Xiaomi has not officially declared any confirmation on the alleged Redmi 5A. The tech universe awaits some interesting news on that part. We will surely get back to you with further updates.
