After the successful launch of Mi Mix 2 and Mi Note 3, the company seems to bring another moniker in its Redmi series. The latest report surrounding the company refers to the next entry touted as- the Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus.
According to the leak that surfaced on Weibo, Redmi 5 Plus’s image indicates a closeup shot of the box package, likely to the smartphone’s poster. hrough the Redmi series smartphones, the Chinese tech firm has truly garnered its fame, and with this upcoming gadget, we expect absolutely no exception.
From the latest news, the image teases the name of Redmi 5 Plus. One can closely expect the device to be none other than an advanced edition of Redmi 5. Although we are ahead of any information based on its key specs, Redmi 5 Plus is pegged to roll out with flagship features. As per possibilities, Redmi 5 Plus may boast a 5-inch display alongside a similar designing language when compared to the upcoming Redmi Note 5.
From the reports so far, Redmi Note 5 was delivered with a leak online to sport some excellent key specs (as mentioned here). We have already reported on how the smartphone was envisioned to boast a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display. At heart, Redmi Note 5 may house a 16nm Mediatek Helio P25 octa-core processor consisting of eight Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.6GHz. On the optics front, the device is expected to ship with a 12MP frontal camera alongside a dual 16MP + 5MP camera at its back panel.
