The company has kept the features of the M6 almost same as its predecessor but incorporated massive changes in terms of design. Although at the first glance, it looks like that M6 is made of metal, actually it is made of polycarbonate. And to get the metallic look, the engineers have used the Non-Conductive Vacuum Metallization (NCVM) technology. The laser engraved logo and the handcrafted pseudo-antenna line has given the phone a premium look.
As for the specs are concerned, the Meizu M6 sports a 5.2-inch HD display, just like its predecessor, Meizu M5. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, although the maker of the chipset is yet unknown to us. The smartphone will be available in two storage variant-the basic model will feature 2GB of RAM, whereas the expensive model will come with a 3GB of RAM. The internal storage of the handset varies from 16GB to 32GB, according to the price you are paying. You can further expand the native storage capacity up to 128GB via the microSD card.
On the optics front, Meizu M6 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with an RGBW color sensor, HDR photography, and improved noise reduction feature. On the front side, an 8-megapixel snapper is placed with f/2.0 sensor. Talking about the security measures, the Meizu M6 sports a mTouch fingerprint sensor placed under the home button and according to the company claims, unlocks the handset in just 0.2 seconds. The device is backed by a 3070mAh battery and runs on the Android Nougat OS out of the box with the company’s very own Flyme 6 OS skinned top of it.
Available in four color options- blue, black, gold, and silver, the 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM variant costs ¥699 (almost $106) and the 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM is priced at ¥899 (almost $137) .
