After several leaks and news, the gala day has arrived. It’s September 11, and as Xiaomi developers promised, the tech universe is going to receive another Mi Mix smartphone- the Mi Mix 2. With extreme possibilities, we have come across yet another news about the handset on its very launch date. A fresh image has appeared on the Chinese microblogging site, Weibo, indicating it to be none another than the upcoming smartphone.
Just ahead of a couple of hours of Mi Mix 2‘s launch, the smartphone has been teased with its frontal view. The image can give us a close hint on how the smartphone will look like. From the frontal view, Mi Mix 2 will sport thin bezels. This is indeed a thing to go for. Now that the entire tech industry follows the bezel-less display, it was expected from Xiaomi developers to add more delicacy to the bandwagon of the bezel-less feature.
Weibo’s leaked image indicates Mi Mix 2 to flaunt an extended screen space, even larger than what tech gurus were offered with its predecessor. On Mi Mix 2’s optics front, one can also take a good look at the selfie snapper situated at the bottom right corner. While there are no options to take a look at the bottom and sides of the smartphone, speculations are rife that Mi Mix 2 will likely feature a USB-C port along with other hosts of features.
We have already reported that the smartphone has been confirmed to house with Snapdragon 835 chipset under its hood. The chipset is expected to be paired with RAM of 6 GB and an internal storage 256 GB. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is expected to boast a display size of 6.2 inches. The juice will be provided by a powerful 4,500 mAh battery.
The smartphone is expected to launch at 12: 30 PM today in China. Until then, we must keep an eye on every possible news on Xiaomi‘s Mi Mix 2.
