Fans all over the world have been waiting for the much talked about upcoming BlackBerry smartphone, with the alleged name Krypton. At the IFA 2017 tech event which was held in Berlin at the beginning of the year, BlackBerry announced they are making this all-touchscreen device. A couple of weeks ago a leaked photo hinted that the smartphone would come with a brushed metal bar on the top and a small camera module placed on it. Now, the famous tipster Evan Blass has leaked a new image of the upcoming BlackBerry smartphone and also revealed the smartphone will be launched with the name Motion instead of Krypton. Blass also hinted that the forthcoming smartphone will make its debut in October.
The biggest USP of the upcoming BlackBerry Motion smartphone is that it will feature an all-screen front panel. That means the handset will not sport any QWERTY keyboard, which was the biggest trademark of the BlackBerry handsets. The leaked image also revealed that the forthcoming handset will come with a home button placed at the bottom of the front panel. Also, the BlackBerry logo would be embedded on the fingerprint scanner. The right panel would feature three physical buttons for power, volume and other functions like playing music or opening an app directly.
The rendered image posted by Evan Blass also indicates that the forthcoming BlackBerry Motion handset will flaunt a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for charging at the bottom. The speaker grille is also placed there. The other rumors suggest the smartphone will sport a full-HD display and will be powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset clubbed with 4GB of RAM. Moreover, the upcoming smartphone is expected to back by a 4000mAh battery with 26 hours of battery life.
BlackBerry has recently collaborated with the Chinese tech firm TCL and thus the BlackBerry Motion will be designed and manufactured by TCL.
