After appearing on various certification sites under the model number SM-C7100, the alleged Galaxy C7 (2017) went official in China as the Samsung Galaxy C8. In fact, the time when we informed about the same device to launch in China (as reported here), we had clearly mentioned that Samsung incorporated the dual camera setup on Galaxy C8 after the Galaxy Note 8 and Galaxy J7 Plus. Now the internet offers fresh and real shot tours of the same handset that surfaced a few hours back.
The fresh photos give us an opportunity to have a glimpse of the device up close. While the front panel consists of a selfie shooter with flash at the top bezel, the rear panel offers the best out of the box. The front cam equipped with a single 16-megapixel, comes with an aperture of f/1.9 coupled with its own LED flash, reports GizmoChina. On contrary, the rear camera features a dual rear camera system consisting of a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors with apertures of f/1.7 and f/1.9 respectively.
The frontal view denotes that Galaxy C8 doesn’t follow the bandwagon of bezel-less design. Apart from that, it sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080p. Besides, there’s a home button right under the display which also has a fingerprint sensor underneath. The Samsung Galaxy C8 houses an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 chipset, under its hood. It has been made available in two variants- 3GB of RAM variant and 4GB RAM variant. While the 4GB RAM variant has an internal storage of 64GB, the 3GB of RAM variant is accompanied by 32 GB of native storage.
The juice is provided by a 3,000mAh battery onboard and runs Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. As per pricing, the Samsung Galaxy C8 is priced at 1,999 Yuan (~$30) and is already on sale in the Chinese markets.
