Before we reveal anything about OnePlus 6, let us heartily agree to the fact that OnePlus 5 was a massive hit in the tech industry, so much so that the developers decided to unveil the special edition which we reported prior to a couple of weeks (right here). We also went through the discussion on how OnePlus 5 was teased to launch the JCC+ Limited Edition shortly (as mentioned here). The news that has popped recently on the internet closely hints at the flagship specs of OnePlus 6 along with the cancellation of OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus 6 to Arrive Shortly Ahead of its Expected Launch Date

OnePlus 3T was launched back in late 2016 as an upgraded variant of OnePlus 3 model. After the launch of OnePlus, there were rumors of OnePlus 5T to get unveiled by the end of this year. However, the news which we have gathered from Gizbot reports that the tech universe will not receive an upgraded version of OnePlus 5- the OnePlus 5T. Instead, one may anticipate OnePlus 6 model to debut shortly, ahead of its expected launch date.

Coming to its key specs, let us take a glimpse on what the tech geeks can expect from the upcoming device. While OnePlus 5 debuted with a display size of 5.5-inch screens, its successor is believed to boast a mammoth 6-inch display alongside an aspect ratio of 18:9 and QHD+ resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels. Nowadays almost every renowned brand follows the bandwagon of bezel-less design. From this, one may find it interesting to note that OnePlus 6, nothing unlike its predecessor, may also arrive with minuscule or absolutely no bezel design.

From our earlier reports, when OnePlus 6 was leaked with its concept design, we had predicted that the device will sport an IP68 rating. And certainly, it will run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The juice might be offered by a powerful 4,000mAh battery. As per possibilities, OnePlus 6 may come in three color variants- Pearl White, Gold and Jet Black. More news awaits in the coming days, so here’s the waiting.
