Gionee F205 Spotted on GFXBench, Boasts of a Full-View Display

The Gionee F205 has now been spotted on GFXBench. This means that a new Gionee phone may be about to launch soon. Last month, we had come across the new Gionee GN5007 on the same site and we had reported the same. This device also has another extra feature: the FullView display which will have an 18:9 aspect ratio. Here, we discuss the best features of the device.

Gionee F205 Specs and Features

The new device from the company called Gionee has a great list of specs and features. The Gionee F205 has a 5” smartphone which has a 1440 x 720 (or HD+) resolution. At the heart of this device is a great new processor. The new MediaTek MT6739 SoC has been clocked at 1.5GHz. This is a new quad-core chipset which was only announced last month. The new device has an 18:9 display support. This phone also has dual LTE support (4G +4G) which means that the users will be able to use two high-speed SIMs. The GPU is the new PowerVR Rogue GE1800 which will work in tandem with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of innate storage.

The Gionee F205 also has a few decent specs as far as the photography and optics field is concerned. It has a very decent 8MP rear camera which is capable of recording videos in 4K as well as a 5MP front-facing camera. We do not know as of now if there are dual rear cameras; this is because GFXBench can only recognize one of the available sensors. As far as software is concerned, it is the Android 7.1.1 Nougat right out of the box.

As far as the specs of the Gionee F205 are concerned, it points at an entry-level mid-range device. We believe that it will retail for under $200. As soon as it goes on TENAA, some of the other details will become more prominent.
