HTC U11 Plus to House Snapdragon 835 Chipset Alongside Other Key Specs: Leak Suggests

Amidst swirling leaks on HTC U11 Plus, here’s one more that has come up quite recently. We have reported earlier on the unveil event of HTC that is set to occur on November 2. Now, if the recent report is anything to indicate, fans may expect the upcoming device to feature some top-end specs.

Famous leakster Evan Blass shares some delightful specs of HTC U11 Plus via Twitter. According to the fresh leaks, the smartphone codenamed as Ocean Master is reported to feature a 6-inch LCD display, the smartphone is anticipated to support WQHD+ resolution, i.e. screen resolution of 1,440×2,880 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will also support a pixel density of 538 dpi and will be equipped with a whopping 6 GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage. Underneath the hood, the HTC U11 Plus will be powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset. The juice will be provided by 3,930mAh battery supporting Quick Charge 3.0.

On the optics department, HTC U11 Plus is expected to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with an aperture of f/1.7 that would be accompanied by dual LED flash. While on contrary, the front-facing camera will be equipped with  8-megapixel. In addition, the device will come with an IP68 certified chassis alongside feature Boom Sound audio. For Edge Sense feature, this particular HTC handset will fit with the pressure-sensitive frame.

Not just that, as per earlier specs, the device is expected to follow the bandwagon of bezel-less design and feature a fingerprint reader embedded below the camera module at the rear panel. Recently we have reported on Galaxy S9 that is anticipated to house a front-facing fingerprint sensor (as mentioned here).

In our earlier reports, we have seen Blass’s claim denoting the Twainese company to unleash either HTC U11 Life or U11 Life Android One device at the launch event. Even though we have had a number of speculations on HTC U11 Plus to unleash on November 2, the tipster clearly states “not the +“, indicating HTC U11 to not get launched at the unveiling event.
