After getting unveiled and being an eyecatcher at the IFA Berlin, Moto X4 didn’t stop being in the rumor mill. We have seen how the Motorola Moto X4 Android version got official in our report (as mentioned here). And the weeks of speculation has brought a good news for our Indian fans. The Moto X4 is reported to launch in November, and to be very specific, it will be the 13th of the next month.
The report surrounding the Indian launch date of Moto X4 surfaced on Twitter on Monday. The news popped in via a comment by Motorola India. On October 12, the company tweeted “Last #Diwali, did you say #HelloDiwali by adding color to rangolis OR did you just RT others’ rangoli picture?” As per key specs, the Moto X4 sports a 5.2-inch FHD 1080p display (as already reported earlier) and will support a screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. Underneath its hood, there would be a decent 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 SoC clocked at 2.2GHz and will be coupled with a RAM of 3 GB.
On its optics front, Moto X4 sports a dual rear camera setup with 12-megapixel dual autofocus sensor (with an aperture of f/2.0) and 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor (with a 120-degree field of view, 1.12-micron pixels, and f/2.2 aperture). There are additional features available including depth detection and depth effects, professional mode, Selective Focus, ultra-wide angle shot, so on and so forth. The Moto X4 features a 16-megapixel selfie sensor on the front panel. Addition features also include 1-micron pixels, flash support, and f/2.0 aperture. The juice is provided by a 3,000mah battery along with 15 W TurboPower charger.
Connectivity features include Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GLONASS, GPS, FM Radio, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz, and 5GHz), and more (as reported here). And much to the delight of geeks, the new Moto X4 also supports Google Assistant as well as Alexa. Measuring 148.35×73.4×7.99mm, the new Moto X device weighs 163 grams. As per pricing, the smartphone rolled out in the European markets with EUR 399 price tag, which is roughly Rs. 30,300.
