Chinese electronics tech giant unveiled the dual camera model, OPPO F3, in the month of May. And despite compromising in materials used for chassis, OPPO F3 (priced at Rs. 19990) possibly delivered a good value. Later on, the company launched A57 in India at Rs 14,990. Only if the company was predictable, but thanks to the news that has surfaced today! OPPO’s new smartphone comes with 16 MP of front camera for better video calling experience and taking selfies. Known as the OPPO F3 Lite, the smartphone was quietly launched in Vietnam.
OPPO F3 Lite Key Specs
In the design language, OPPO F3 Lite comes with a metal unibody design and a capsule-shaped home button that gets doubled up as a fingerprint reader (as mentioned in this report). It features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. OPPO F3 Lite houses the Snapdragon 435 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.4GHz, under its hood. There’s a 3 GB of RAM with a combination of 32 GB of native storage, that can further expand up to 256 GB by using a microSD card.
On the optics front, OPPO F3 Lite sports a rear camera of 13-megapixel along with an aperture of f/2.2, laser focus and PDAF. And the best part is, OPPO F3 Lite flaunts a whopping 16-megapixel selfie snapper. Backed by a battery of 2,900mAh capacity, the device comes with 3.5mm audio jack. Other connectivity features include Bluetooth v4.1, USB, Wi-Fi, GPRS/EDGE, and so on. Unfortunately, much to the disappointment of fans, the F3 Lite device runs a dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow, out-of-the-box.
OPPO F3 Lite Price and Availability
While the homegrown tech firms are progressing at a slow pace, OPPO (the Chinese tech giant) is the standalone manufacturer to bring some excellent devices in the near past. OPPO F3 Lite, priced at $240 (which is approx. Rs 15,500) will be available in two color variants- Black and Gold.
