After the massive success of the OnePlus 3T, the Chinese tech giant is all set to release another handset under the coveted T series, the OnePlus 5T. And today, an alleged leaked image of the hotly-awaited OnePlus 5T has been surfaced on the internet or more precisely on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, giving a hint about the upcoming smartphone. Although the OnePlus 3T has a lot similar to the original OnePlus 3, in terms of design and aesthetics, the alleged render of the OnePlus 5T looks entirely different with the OnePlus 5.
According to the recently leaked image and previous rumors, the OnePlus 5T is expected to sport a larger screen than the OnePlus 5, a 6-inch display with the 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the OnePlus 5 comes with a 5.5-inch screen with 1080p pixel resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. Apart from that, another major change is expected in the fingerprint sensor. All the OnePlus devices feature the fingerprint scanner/home button at the bottom of the front end. But according to the leaked image, the OnePlus 5T is going to feature the home button/fingerprint scanner at the rear end. Although the matte black finish and other features a like a dual-camera setup and a LED flash will be featured in the rear end.
Moreover, the render images on the upcoming OnePlus 5T has also indicated that the display will come with a flat edge and the alert slider is making a comeback and is going to be placed on the left side of the handset. Although apart from this leaked image, we have not managed to gather much information on the handset’s probable features, specs, or price. As for the release date is concerned, the OnePlus 5T is expected to make its debut in November, although nothing has become official yet.
