Xiaomi has done all things possible and still continues to maintain its tradition by manufacturing handsets with amazing specs at low prices. Besides fitness brands, air purifiers, earphones, power banks, the company’s portfolio also includes some mid-tier smartphones. Out of which, the much-anticipated one that is playing its part in the tech industry right now is the Redmi Note 5. After receiving the TENAA certification, the smartphone has been leaked with renders that look as authentic as official.
The renders that surfaced a few hours ago on the internet indicate that the smartphone will have a bezel-less design. As per the report by Gizbot, one can expect Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 to boast a 5.99-inch FHD+ 2160 x 1440 pixel display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Alike to what we have seen in Mi Mix 2, this device too is anticipated to come with rounded corners and minuscule bezels. And possibly the tech industry will get two variants of Redmi Note 5. While one variant will sport 3GB RAM and 32GB storage space, the other will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage space. As per other claims, the smartphone is expected to house Snapdragon 636.
The report on Redmi Note 5 to sport a dual camera module has been proved to be wrong by the TEENA certification that we have reported few hours prior. Besides a single rear camera and minuscule bezels, the upcoming Xiaomi’s handset is expected to come with a fingerprint sensor embedded right below the camera setup (as reported here before). In the distant past, we have already reported the phablet to come with a mammoth 4,000mAh battery. Apart from that, Redmi Note 5 is expected to be an Android Nougat 7.1 based phablet with MIUI 9 on top. We have already reported on MIUI 9.0.2.0 expected to be coming soon. As per release date, Redmi Note 5 may get launched before November 11 with a priced tag of 799 Yuan.
