Vivo Xplay 7 Renders Leaked, Shows Off Bezel-Less Display Among Specs Details

Vivo has always been known for its stated stance on technology; the selfie-specialist has always been good at picking up the cutting edge technologies. For example, at the Mobile World Congress or MWC 2017, the company had shown off the display-embedded fingerprint scanner. This, and some more features, including a truly bezel-less display have now been shown off on a leaked render of the Vivo Xplay 7, which is a successor to the Vivo Xplay 6.

The leaked renders have a lot of new information. For example, we now know that the new Vivo Xplay 7 may be made available in color variants like Black, Gold, as well as Rose Gold (or perhaps Pink). The entire front side of this device boasts a bezel-less design with a full-screen display and it looks stunning. The rear panel, on the other hand, has some resemblances to the Xplay 6. The renders have also revealed the availability of the 3.5mm audio jack, besides a USB Type-C port as well as a pair of external speakers.

The new bezel-less design of the Vivo Xplay 7

The most significant and beautiful aspect as far as the Vivo Xplay 7 is concerned is the completely bezel-less design. In fact, one of the leaked images has also suggested that the display is destined to have a screen-to-body ratio of 100 percent. We could, however, make out two small cutouts located on the upper part of smartphone’s display. These two cutouts may mean that the new phone may either have dual selfie cameras or a single selfie camera and a separate sensor.

The rear of the Vivo Xplay 7 has a dual camera system in sync with the times. Sources suggest that there will be a pair of customized Sony IMX401 sensors which will carry also support 4x optical zoom for better photography. The specs list is pretty great too: it might have the next-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, something which the Samsung Galaxy S9 will also have. The chipset may be paired with 8GB of RAM. The Vivo Xplay may ultimately be launched in two native storage variants, which might be 128GB and 256GB. Stay tuned for further updates.
