According to what the report goes by, the original device comes in four different color variants- Rose Gold, Black, Red, and Gold. There are anticipations that this device will sport a pure red back cover, indicated the company’s poster. As per key specs, the Xiaomi Mi 5X Special Edition adorns a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and supports FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Underneath, Mi 5X Special Edition houses an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC that is paired with RAM of 4 GB and an internal storage of 64 GB. The hybrid dual SIM supports is capable of expanding the native storage with an external microSD card usage.
On the optics department, Mi 5X Special Edition comes flaunts a dual rear camera module of the 12MP primary sensor and the 5MP secondary sensor. In the design language, the device comes with a fingerprint sensor embedded in the rear panel.
