If the latest report is anything that one may consider, Gionee is set to hold a press event in Shenzhen, China on November 26. At the event, the company is expected to unveil eight of the Gionee smartphones presumed to feature bezel-less displays.
A teaser has been shared by the company via the microblogging site Weibo, which confirms that the Chinese tech giant apparently will unveil six mentioned smartphones- Gionee F205, Gionee F6, Gionee M7 Plus, Gionee S11, Gionee Steel 3, and Gionee S11S. Besides, the teaser also gives us a close hint that the Gionee F6 and F205 will have a full-screen display. That being said, the Gionee F205 smartphone reportedly will feature a 5-inch HD+ display.
Talking about the F205 device, it will sport an 18:9 aspect ratio and will house quad-core MediaTek MT6739 chipset coupled with 2 GB of RAM. As per expectations, it will pack 16GB onboard storage. On the imaging front, there will be an 8 MP rear camera 5-megapixel frontal camera. The Gionee F205 will run the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box with the company’s in-house custom Amigo UI on top.
We have reported on Gionee M7 Plus and how the smartphone passed the TENAA certification. While the phone’s key specs were never really revealed, some reports indicated that Gionee M7 Plus and M2018 is said to be two of the high-tier models from the Chinese company. We have also seen hands-on images of M7 Plus variant which was reported a few days back.
Another smartphone that might get official at the launch event is the Gionee F6. A lot has been hyping this particular device. In terms of specifications, Gionee F6 has been spotted on TENAA housing a MediaTek MT6739 chipset clocked at 1.4GHz CPU and coupled with 4 GB of RAM. Reportedly, it will come with a dual rear camera system with a 13-megapixel lens and another 2-megapixel lens at the back panel. For the time being more news must surface on the internet with leaks and rumors of Gionee‘s upcoming smartphones.
