Oppo, it now seems, is in a great hurry to find its own niche in the rapidly burgeoning market of a decent mid-range smartphone with looks identical to much more expensive devices. Now, we had reported some months back that the design philosophy of the Oppo R11 was closely identical to that of the Apple iPhone 7 Plus, especially the rear design. Now, it seems, the design philosophy of the Oppo R13 will be similar to the Apple iPhone X.
Essentially, one wishes to know why all of Oppo’s devices have lately begun to resemble those of Apple’s so closely. We had earlier brought you all the details of the Oppo R11S. The latest design leaks of the Oppo R13 also indicate that it has clearly been inspired by the just-released Apple iPhone X. Apple has consistently provided a design inspiration for the Chinese manufacturing giant, it seems.
On the rear side of the Oppo R13, we saw a dual rear camera setup which is also accompanied by a decent LED Flash. Besides, the cameras are located side by side in a single housing, extremely similar to the iPhone X. Incidentally, the OnePlus 5 too has a similar rear design. In this instance, it is clearly not the first time that the design of the iPhone X has been duplicated by Chinese companies. Many such replicas are already available.
Like the iPhone X, the new Oppo R13 also has the top notch on the front, which is taking the resemblance scenario to the hilt. Besides, the virtual home bar we saw in the display is also identical to the iPhone X. As of now, we do not have any new information on the specs and features of the Oppo R13. Stay tuned here for more updates as well as any further resemblances to the iPhone X.
