Dell’s Latest Inspiron Notebooks Come to India With Super-Slim Form Factor

Dell has launched a new Inspiron series of notebooks in India with great features. The American giant has launched these three notebooks in India, one of its biggest markets. The list includes the 13 7000 2 in 1 (7373), the Inspiron 15 7000 (7570), and the Inspiron 13 5000 (5370). Dell had, last month, launched the Inspiron series of gaming notebooks in India.

Reports say that all the devices run on the Windows 10 OS. They all have eighth-generation Intel Core processors and will sell via Dell’s online store and some selected Dell exclusive stores, besides Croma and Reliance Digital outlets. Note that the Inspiron 13 (5370) will start selling only in late-January 2018.

This is the most premium model. Onboard is a 13.3-inch FHD IPS Truelife LED-backlit display with some very narrow borders. This is a touch display and boasts a backlit, full-size keyboard with spill-resistance. Some options including standard SSDs options besides USB Type-C port and the latest SmartByte streaming technology are also available. This Inspiron model also supports the Quick Charge technology which, Dell claims, cam “go from zero to ready to go” in around 15 minutes.

Some special features including facial recognition is supported. Hard specs include 8GB and 16GB RAM variants while up to 512GB SSD is also offered. Graphics will be ably handled by the Intel UHD Graphics 620 that has shared graphics RAM.

Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7570)

The new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7570) has a 15.6-inch FHD IPS display besides a backlit keyboard. With built-in support for up to 32GB DDR4 RAM and more discrete graphics option that can also go to 4GB GDDR5 dedicated video RAM, this 2-in-1 notebook also has a dual drive option with support up to 256GB SSD and a splendid 1TB HDD.

The 180-degree hinge makes this a truly 2-in-1 device as well.

Dell Inspiron 13 5000 (5370)

The all-new Dell Inspiron 13 5000 (5370) boasts of a 13-inch FHD IPS display with support for video streaming with Smartbyte. A magnificent 32GB of RAM and great graphics options (up to 4GB of GDDR5 video RAM) is also offered. Connectivity options include the USB Type-C 3.1 plus the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The notebook also has a built-in fingerprint reader.


The Dell Inspiron 13 7000 2-in-1 (7373) model with the Core i5 comes for Rs. 76,290; the Core i7 variant comes for Rs. 96,190. The Dell Inspiron 15 7000 (7570) Core i5 variant costs Rs. 77,190; the Core i7 variant costs Rs. 88,690. Lastly, the Dell Inspiron 13 (5370) with the Core i5 costs Rs. 60,690; the Core i7 variant is priced at Rs. 75,790.
