Elephone S9 Apparently under Development, May Sport a Big-Budget AMOLED Display

There’s absolutely no denying the fact that the AMOLED technology is the future technology of the tech industry. Even the Cupertino tech giant, Apple, used a similar technology besides other smartphone manufacturers. It seems the bandwagon is being followed by the smaller Chinese manufacturers as well. Our latest news indicates that the Chinese tech company, Elephone, is set to come with the AMOLED display technology with what can safely be named as the Elephone S9.

Thanks to the design and engineering team which decided to incorporate such a display in its upcoming S9 device. Such an implementation brings many advantages to the future Elephone flagship. The company is apparently taking a leap by adding this feature which is capable of emitting blue light that threatens the eye health, reports GizmoChina. As a matter of fact, apart from emitting blue light which causes visual fatigue, the AMOLED display, despite being more expensive than LCD ones, is thinner and more power saving. Moreover, by picking an AMOLED panel, Elephone S9 will kill two birds with one stone (one: better color reproduction; two: protection of eye).

Despite the fact that the Shenzhen based tech manufacturer didn’t share the fame as a household name in the gadget industry, its ‘tri-bezel-less’ Elephone S8 mobile device has gained popularity in plenty, thus shared its moniker with Samsung’s high-end flagship: the Galaxy S8. Earlier we have put in words on the news of the arrival of Elephone 8’s Red limited edition and how it was leaked to hit limited markets in a minimum quantity. Not just that, the same device was reported to be en route on Gearbest.

To recall, the Elephone S8 when launched, appeared with some appreciative features. The device sports a 6-inch Quad HD display with a screen resolution of 1440×2560 pixels. Underneath, it houses a MediaTek Helio X25 (MT6796T) SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of default storage. Powering the Elephone S8, there’s a mammoth non-removable 4000mAh battery.

For the time being, one may share this space with us in order to know more about the upcoming Elephone S9.
