After a pretty long wait, the LG V30+, this year’s flagship from the South Korean giant LG, is making its debut in India. The device was first launched at the IFA 2017 held in Berlin, Germany. We had earlier reported how the LG V30+ was to be rolled out in India on December 13. Today is the day. The LG V30+ is definitely one of the best devices to have launched this year.
Basically, the LG V30+ is an updated variant of the LG V30. It has an internal storage capacity of 128GB while the standard LG V30 has an internal storage capacity of 64GB. The V30 series has proven to be so popular that a new LG V30 ‘Signature Edition’ with a designer interface and other frills, has been rolled out in its native country, as we had reported.
You can watch the entire live stream of the LG V30+ device right here on the official website of the company. While there is no official word on the price of the device, it can be estimated rather accurately if we look at the price details that we had reported on when the device launched.
LG V30+ Specs and Features
This being LG‘s flagship device of the year 2017, it has trendsetting features. The V30+ runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat and boasts a 6-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and with an 18:9 aspect ratio. On the top is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This flagship device has, at its heart, a great octa-core Snapdragon 825 SoC that works in tandem with the Adreno 540 GPU, as well as 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage space, the only advantage it has over its sibling, the LG V30. Expandable storage via a microSD card slot is supported as is the hybrid dual SIM functionality.
The LG V30+ also has a dual camera setup at its rear which is pretty similar in nature and looks to the LG G6, launched earlier this year. There is a 16MP primary snapper with f/1.6 aperture and a 13MP secondary snapper. At the front is a 5MP selfie camera.
