Leaked Xiaomi Mi 6X Images Show Off 18:9 Display and Vertical Dual Rear Cameras

Recent reports claim that Xiaomi is working on last year’s Mi 5X’s successor, touted as the Xiaomi Mi 6X. Now, if the recent leak is to be considered correct, the Xiaomi Mi 6X has surfaced in the rumor mill with leaked images which reveal quite a lot about this next Xiaomi smartphone.

Sources claim that Mi 6X is expected to come with an iPhone X-like design and will also sport a dual camera module on the rear panel which will be placed vertically. The design leaks suggest a similar aesthetic in Black and Gold color variants, reports NDTV Gadget360. The similar leak also indicates that Xiaomi Mi 6X will have a display which will carry an aspect ratio of 18:9. The fingerprint scanner of the device will be embedded on the rear panel.

Xiaomi Mi 6X‘s recent leak has been spotted by OnPhones (posted on Chinese microblogging site Weibo). Notably, Xiaomi to incorporate a vertically placed dual rear camera module will be the most remarkable design change from the company. We have seen its predecessor: the Xiaomi Mi 5X had a horizontal dual rear camera setup. So this design change is expected to be promising. To recall, the Mi 5X was initially launched in certain markets which also includes India, but in the Indian markets, the device has been popularly known as the Xiaomi Mi A1, which run the stock Android.

As per claims, the Xiaomi Mi 6X device will sport the same 5.99-inch with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Mere speculations hint us at the fact that Xiaomi can unveil this particular device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. No other information regarding the phone’s hardware has been given to us. Therefore, for more updates on the phone’s features and price, one may stay glued to us. For more news on the upcoming smartphones, watch this space.
