Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro owners: here’s a good news! The Galaxy J7 Pro has finally received the initial software update, since its launch in the Indian market. Even if the update is a minor one, it brings the December 2017 security patch along with other troubleshoots. It is true that Samsung has delayed in rolling out the update for J7 Pro users, the Galaxy J7 Pro owners will now have to wait for a couple of months for the next security update and eventually can update their devices.

The new update of 421MB in size (which comes with a general changelog) comes with the firmware version J730GMDXU2AQL1. As such, there are no notable features that users can see. The handset runs the Android Nougat operating system. The most recent security patch brings a troubleshoot for a couple of vulnerabilities in Android OS as well as the company’s in-house software.
