If the recent report is anything you will go by, the Xiaomi Mi A1 arrives has been unlocked in the US with a price tag of $225. The smartphone in the country is available through the third retailers. The device was earlier launched in multiple color variants- Special Red Edition and the Rose Gold Color variant. Both the devices went on sales on the e-commerce giant, Flipkart.
In the US, the device has now reportedly been official through the eBay, the retailer which comes with a positive feedback rating of 99.3 percent. It is selling the factory unlocked edition of Xiaomi Mi A1 that has been made official with a price cost of $224.99. While the smartphone has been made available in limited quantities, only the Gold color version of the device is available for purchasing.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 happens to be the first Android One smartphone from the Chinese smartphone giant. Therefore, the Xiaomi Mi A1 runs the stock edition of the Android OS. Launched with Android Nougat in the month of September 2017, the device also received the rollout for the Android 8.0 Oreo update, a couple of days ago. The update nevertheless stopped due to technical errors.
To recall, the device comes with a 5.5-inch FHD 1080p display alongside 2.5D curved glass overlaid on top. Other features include a 3.5mm audio port (which many flagship phones lack), the infrared sensor, in addition to this there’s a fingerprint reader for better security onboard. The Xiaomi Mi A1 an octa-core 2GHz Snapdragon 625 SoC which will work in tandem with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The 3080mAh battery powers the phone and the device supports 4G VoLTE along with the dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Earlier the Xiaomi Mi A1 was launched in India at Rs 14,999 last year but has now it has already received a permanent price cut and was made available at Rs 13,999 in India.
