The new plan will offer customers 1GB of high-speed 4G data per day along with unlimited voice calls across all networks every day including roaming calls in all circles and comes with a validity of 84 days. Apart from this, customers would also get 100 SMS messages per day along with free access to ring back tones which users can customize on their own. “BSNL is the only player [that] passes max benefits and forwarding most popular services to its esteemed customers, STV-448 is the most competitive in present market scenario,” said RK Mittal, Director of the BSNL Board while speaking about this new offer. The new pack has been designed to take on Reliance Jio’s Rs 449 pack that offers its users 1.5GB of high-speed 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls across all networks and 100 SMS messages every day. It also offers free access to Jio app suite and comes with a validity period of 91 days. Airtel has also recently launched a Rs 448 pack that offers its users 1.4GB of data per day, unlimited calling and 100 SMS messages every day. This plan comes with a validity of 84 days. BSNL has also previously launched two plans of Rs 99 and Rs 319 in the Kolkata circle. The Rs 99 plan offers the users with unlimited voice calls (both STD and local) along with free national roaming across the country. The pack comes with a validity period of 28 days. The Rs 319 plan offers the users with unlimited voice calls across all networks along with free national roaming. This plan is valid for 90 days and it is also important to note that all local and STD calls to Delhi and Mumbai circle will be charged at 60 paise per minute to all users.
