MWC 2018: Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3v and Alcatel 1x to get Unveiled

As per news sources, French smartphone manufacturer Alcatel is set to unveil three new smartphones at the MWC 2018 global event to be held at Barcelona from February 25 onwards. The three devices are dubbed as Alcatel 5, Alcatel 3v and Alcatel 1x.

As far as the Alcatel 5 is concerned, it sports very thin bezels on three sides of the device and a thicker one on the top. It features a 5.7-inch full HD display screen with a resolution of 1440 X 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9 just like other smartphones of the present generation. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 1.5GHz quad-core processor along with Mali-T860 MP2 graphics unit as well. It is backed with 3GB of RAM support.

The Alcatel devices come with an internal storage space of 32GB which can be further upgraded with the help of micro-SD card. The Alcatel 5 comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera and a dual camera setup on the front side for selfies and video calling features. The phone runs on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 version with a fingerprint sensor on the rear and is fueled by a massive 3000mAh battery.

The Alcatel 3v, on the other hand, comes with a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 2160 X 1080 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM support and 16GB of internal storage space. It features a dual camera module on the rear with a 16-megapixel sensor with autofocusĀ and a 2-megapixel camera with LED flash. It ruins on the latest Android Oreo operating system and is fueled by a 3000mAh battery.

Not much information is available about the specifications of the Alcatel 1x. But if rumors are to be believed, it may be an entry-level smartphone and may come with a full screen design with a single rear camera and finger-print sensor on the rear.
