It has launched Zenfone 5, Zenfone 5Z and Zenfone 5 lite yesterday. All the devices offer AI-enabled features, 18:9 full HD displays with a 90% screen-to-body ratio and dual-camera setups. All the three smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets and also features ZeniMoji, which is Asus’s own version of emojis just like Apple’s Animojis. The company has also launched Zenfone Max (M1) which is a variant of the original Zenfone Max Plus (M1), running on Snapdragon 430 or 425 chipset. Talking about the specifications of the devices, the Asus Zenfone 5Z runs on the latest Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with the new Zen UI 5.0 on top of it. It sports a 6.2-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 X 2246 pixels and 19:9 aspect ratio. The display also supports DCI-P3 color gamut and comes with Asus Blue-Light eye care filter. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with Artificial Intelligence Engine (AIE) and Adreno 630 GPU. It is backed with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage in the base variant, 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage for the middle variant and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for the premium variant. As for the camera department, it sports a dual-camera setup on the rear with a primary camera of 12-megapixel with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera is of 8-megapixel also with auto-focus. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling. The Asus ZenFone 5 runs on Android Oreo 8.0 version out of the box with Zen UI 5.0 on top of it. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. All the other specs are similar to Asus Zenfone 5Z. As for the Asus Zenfone 5 lite, it also runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box with Zen UI 5.0 on top of it. It bears a 6-inch full-HD display screen with a screen to body ratio of 80.3%. It is available in two variants with one featuring Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor while the other with Snapdragon 630 chipset with Adreno 505 GPU. There are also RAM and storage variants with 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
