Nokia 6 New Variant with 4GB RAM to be Available in India from February 20 via Flipkart

A new variant of the Nokia 6 is set to be launched in India on February 20 as per reports. The new device comes with 4GB RAM and would be available for sale exclusively through e-commerce website Flipkart. There will be some launch offers for the customers as well like extra Rs 2000 off on exchange with an older smartphone. The device has been priced at Rs 16,999.

All the other aspects of the device remain the same, except for the RAM and internal storage part. The Nokia 6 was officially launched in India in June last year. It features 3GB RAM with 32GB of internal storage space. The older variant is available exclusively through Amazon India.

To recall, the Nokia 6 features a metal unibody design with a glossy finish. As per HMD officials, the smartphone has been made with 6000 series of Aluminum alloy. The device features a full HD display screen of 5.5-inch and a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 2.5D curved glass cover.

The Nokia 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and is now available in two variants as mentioned above. One with, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the latest one with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is fueled by a non-removable 3000 mAh battery which may last for a day or two easily depending on the usage.

Talking about the software, the phone was launched with Android Nougat version out of the box, but the company has now upgraded it to the latest Android Oreo version. The device features a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection and auto-focus. It also features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling feature.

The Nokia 6 also features dual amplifiers that can deliver more sound than regular amplifiers with a higher voice, deeper bass, and better clarity.
