The leaked photos indicate that the device could be Nokia 9 because it does not match with any of the previously leaked photos of Nokia devices. The display screen features a curved edge like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 devices. As per the leaked photo, the length of the device does not look to be too long, which indicates that the smartphone may feature a 16:9 aspect ratio display instead of the more popular 18:9 aspect display. The back cover of the phone also seems to be made of glass with a dual camera setup at the rear panel of the phone. There is also a fingerprint sensor just beneath the dual-camera setup.

HMD Global is also expected to launch the Nokia 3310 4G feature phone as well at the event.

Apart from these smartphones, the company may also unveil a smart home product at the event. HMD Global is set to hold the launch event between 4 pm and 5 pm at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts on February 2018.
