As reported earlier, HMD Global, license holder of Nokia is expected to launch a slew of devices at the MWC global event which is being held in Barcelona from February 25 onwards. The company is likely to launch the Nokia 9, Nokia 6 (2018) and the Android Oreo Go Edition based Nokia 1 at the event. Now a new device, which is alleged to be Nokia 9 has been spotted in the hands of an HMD Global official in a private event of the company held at Jakarta, Indonesia.
The leaked photos indicate that the device could be Nokia 9 because it does not match with any of the previously leaked photos of Nokia devices. The display screen features a curved edge like the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy Note 8 devices. As per the leaked photo, the length of the device does not look to be too long, which indicates that the smartphone may feature a 16:9 aspect ratio display instead of the more popular 18:9 aspect display. The back cover of the phone also seems to be made of glass with a dual camera setup at the rear panel of the phone. There is also a fingerprint sensor just beneath the dual-camera setup.
Apart from the Nokia 9, the company is also likely to unveil the Nokia 6 (2018) and the Android Go edition based Nokia 1. Additionally, the company may also launch the Nokia 7 globally, as it has been launched only for the Chinese users so far. HMD Global is also expected to launch the Nokia 3310 4G feature phone as well at the event.
Apart from these smartphones, the company may also unveil a smart home product at the event. HMD Global is set to hold the launch event between 4 pm and 5 pm at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Arts on February 2018.
