Acer announced the launch of the Acer Swift 5 laptop in India, today. The laptop weighs just 970 grams with its 14.9mm thin design and 8th generation Intel Core processors under the hood. The laptop uses an alloy of magnesium and lithium for its top and bottom body and a magnesium-aluminum alloy for the palm rest. The laptop runs on Windows 10 Home version and comes with a price tag of Rs 79,999. The laptop will be available on Acer brand stores and other retailers.
Coming to the specifications of the Acer Swift 5, it sports a 14-inch full HD Pro IPS display with a resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels. It features very thin bezels on the sides of the display panel. The display is also equipped with Acer’s proprietary Color Intelligence technology to optimize screen brightness, color, hue, and saturation. The laptop is available in two variants. The first one is powered by Intel 8th generation Core i5 processor with 8GB of DDR RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The other variant comes with 8th generation Core i7 processor. The RAM and inbuilt storage capacity are the same. It is powered by a 4670mAh battery that can provide up to 8 hours of backup time, the company has claimed. The Acer Swift 5 also supports dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 ac.
It also features a Windows Hello fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports and a LED backlit keyboard. The laptop weighs just 970 grams with dimensions of 328.9mm X 228.1mm X 14.9mm.
