We had already reported last month that the HTC Desire 12, which was codenamed as Breeze is an entry-level smartphone is set to launch this year with full HD 18:9 display. Now according to a new report, the complete specifications of a new smartphone dubbed as HTC Desire 12 Plus have been revealed. As per the publication, the new device has been internally codenamed “Breeze Plus” and is likely to launch soon.
The HTC Desire 12 Plus will feature a full-screen design just like the HTC Desire 12. It will arrive with a 5.99-inch TFT display screen with a resolution of 720 X 1440 pixels. Apart from that, it is also going to feature an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 268ppi.
It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset that includes a 1.8GHz octa-core processor. It is backed with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. The memory is further expandable with the help of a micro-SD card.
Talking about the optics department, the new device from HTC will feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with Back-Illuminate Sensor (BIS) for clicking better photos in low-light conditions. It will also feature an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).
The HTC Desire 12 Plus will be fueled by a 2965 mAh battery that would easily last for a day or two, depending on the usage and will take just over two hours for complete charging. The chipset also supports the latest fast charging 3.0 feature but it is not confirmed whether the charger would also support the new technology. The battery of the device is capable of delivering up to 26 hours of talk time and 74 hours of continuous music playback.
Additionally, the device will support GSM bands like 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 and 4G LTE bands of 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20 and 40. It will also support GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB type-C port for charging and the 3.5mm audio jack.
