With just about a week remaining before its official unveiling, LG has posted a taser video of the upcoming handset on its official Youtube channel. Apart from that, a press render of the LG G7 ThinQ has also appeared online.
Starting off with the promotional video of the LG G7 ThinQ posted by the company on Wednesday, it shows a Korean boy band BTS talking about the latest offering from LG. The seven-member band basically talks about a collaboration of the BTS band with LG. The teaser video reveals that the smartphone will come with seven new features but no detailed information is available. The teaser also indicates that certain updates will be rolled out after the launch of the LG G7 ThinQ. Meanwhile, another teaser video of the LG G7 ThinQ has been spotted by GSM Arena that says “Let the countdown begin” and displays the May 2 launch date.
Coming to the press render that has been leaked by renowned leakster Evan Blass, the leaked image shows a black color variant of the LG G7 ThinQ smartphone. The features are similar to the one that was leaked earlier with a dual rear camera setup, G7 ThinQ branding, and an iPhone X-like notch. The phone also sports a physical button possible to trigger an AI-powered personal assistant.
Apart from these, a spy shot shared on SlashLeaks gives us the first look at the functionality of the second screen. As per the leaked shot, users will be able to shuffle between rounded or edged corners around the notch. Additionally, color options are also available on the settings page that can be used to apply varied colors to the Home screen.
