Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy J3 (2018) and the Galaxy J7 (2018) which are set to become the successors of the Samsung Galaxy J3 92017) and the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) respectively. While the company is yet to reveal the specifications or the prices of the two models, it did mention that both the devices will be affordable to the common people. The handsets will be rolled out in the US this month although the availability in other regions is still unknown.
Talking about the specifications of the two devices, the Samsung Galaxy J3 (2018) features a 5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 720 X 1280 pixels. It comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the rear with a f/1.9 aperture lens and an LED flash. On the front, the device features a 5-megapixel sensor with a f/2.2 aperture. The company has not revealed the capacity of the battery yet but it did confirm that the device will arrive with a long-lasting battery.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) on the other hand features a 5.5-inch display. It comes with a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear panel with f/1.7 aperture lens and another 13-megapixel sensor on the front with f/1.9 aperture. The Galaxy J7 also features a large battery although the specification is still unknown.
The Samsung Galaxy J3 and the Samsung Galaxy J7 are also said to arrive with Samsung Knox integration. Apart from that, both the devices will also include Samsung+ app to provide real-time customer care support with multiple options like Voice Chat, community support, tips and more.
While launching the two Galaxy devices, Justin Denison, senior vice president, Mobile Product Strategy and Marketing at Samsung Electronics America said “When it comes to smartphones, we know that one size doesn’t fit all. The Galaxy lineup is designed to give consumers the flexibility to choose the phone that best fits their needs.” He added, “The J3 delivers high-quality features at a great price, and the J7 with its huge HD screen and amazing, advanced camera, is built for users who want more.”
