HMD Global had launched the Nokia X6 smartphone in China back in May. The device was available in three color options of Blue, Black, and Silver. Now, the company has launched a Polar White variant of the device in China. It comes with a price tag of 1,699 Yuan which is approximately Rs 17,620 and is now available for purchase via different mediums.
The Polar White variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space. It is available in China via jd.com. While there is no information about the global release date at present, the device is likely to be launched as the Nokia 6.1 in international markets.
The Nokia X6 is a mid-range smartphone from the company that features the iPhone X like notch and a full-screen display panel. To recall, this is the second device from HMD Global after the Nokia 7 Plus that features an edge-to-edge display.
To recall the specifications of the Nokia X6, the device a 5.8-inch full HD+ IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 636 chipset. On the imaging front, the Nokia X6 sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor along with an LED flash. On the front, it features another 16-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling.
The device is powered by a 3,060mAH battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device also boasts the Face Recognition technology along with a fingerprint sensor for better security. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type-C port. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo flavor out of the box.
Meanwhile, HMD Global has also scheduled an event in China today where it is expected to unveil the much speculated Nokia X5. As per earlier reports, the smartphone will feature a 5.86-inch HD+ display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 600 series or Helio P60 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage space.
