HMD Global, the licensee of Nokia smartphones recently launched the global variants of the Nokia X5 and Nokia X6 called the Nokia 5.1 Plus and Nokia 6.1 Plus in India. While the company did not reveal the price of the Nokia 5.1 Plus, the Nokia 6.1 Plus was competitively priced at Rs 15,999. Now, the company is reported to be working on a new variant of the Nokia X7 that may see the light of the day soon. The Nokia X7 variant is tipped to arrive with a display notch and some leaked images of the display panel of the device have now appeared online.
Fresh images leaked by Vtechgraphy sourced from the employees of Foxconn are claimed to be of the Nokia X7 device. The report also states that this model is being developed by Foxconn so we can expect more details to appear in the coming days. As per the images, the Nokia X7 will arrive with a display notch that is similar to the one found on the Nokia 5.1 Plus and is a bit wider than the one on the Nokia 6.1 Plus. Going by the image, it is expected that the smartphone will feature a display screen larger than 6-inches with a 19:9 aspect ratio.
The report also states that the images could be of the Phoenix variant of the Nokia X7 that is expected to be unveiled by the end of 2018. The phone is likely to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that will be upgradable with the help of a micro-SD card. The smartphone is expected to feature Zeiss branded optics.
As far as the price is concerned, the Nokia X7 may be priced around CYN 2,000 (Rs 20,400) and is expected to get unveiled in late September. However, it should be noted that these facts are also based on speculations so it should be taken with a pinch of salt.
