The Indian telecom market is going through a fairly active phase now with a number of telecom operators revising and launching new plans to keep up with the competition and offer more benefits to their users. The latest development in this regard comes from Vodafone. The company has reportedly launched two new prepaid plans of Rs 549 and Rs 799 to offer 98GB and 126GB of data to the users.
These plans are currently available in all the telecom circles of the country and offer 3.5GB and 4.5GB of data per day to the users. In addition to the data benefits, these also offer voice calling and SMS benefits.
Coming to the Rs 549 prepaid plan, it offers 3.5GB of data per day with a validity period of 28 days. This takes the monthly quota to 98GB. In addition to the data benefits, the users also get unlimited local/STD and roaming call benefits along with 100SMS messages per day during the entire period of validity.
Talking about the Rs 799 plan of Vodafone, it offers 4.5GB of daily data to the users with a validity period of 28 days. This takes the monthly quota limit to 126GB. Just like the Rs 549 plan, this plan too offers unlimited local/STD and roaming calls to any network along with 100SMS messages per day. In addition, both these plans also offer a free subscription to Vodafone Play app that provides access to movies, music, and live TV.
To compare this plans with high-end plans of Reliance Jio, the Mukesh Ambani owned company has two plans of Rs 509 and Rs 799 which offers 4GB and 5GB of data per day to the users. Similar to Vodafone, these plans also come with a validity period of 28 days. This takes the total monthly quota od data to 112GB and 140GB respectively. Both these plans also offer unlimited voice calling benefits along with a free complimentary subscription to Jio suite of apps like Jio Music, Jio Cinema, and Jio TV.
