Apple is getting ready to launch three new iPhone models in the coming days. It has already scheduled an event on September 12 where it is likely to unveil the handsets. Now, a report has surfaced in China that reveals the names and pricing details of all the three models. As per the report, the 6.5-inch OLED model and the 5.8-inch OLED model will be named Apple iPhone XS Plus and Apple iPhone XS respectively. The affordable iPhone model with 6.1-inch LCD display will be called Apple iPhone XC. Just like earlier reports, this report also claims the new iPhone models will be powered by A12 chipsets with face ID support and gesture-based navigation.
Coming to the pricing details, the report claims that the iPhone XS will come with a price tag of 7388 Yuan ($1,075 or Rs 77,684 approximately). The premium iPhone XS Plus will come with a price tag of 8388 Yuan ($1.210 or Rs 88,210 approximately). The budget iPhone XC will come with a price tag of 5888 Yuan ($855 or Rs 65,895 approximately).
The report also states that all the three models will arrive with at least 6$GB of inbuilt storage space which is expected to go up to 256GB. The premium iPhone XS series may feature up to 512GB of inbuilt storage space. The iPhone XS series also expected to feature dual rear camera modules with twin 12-megapixel sensors.
On the other hand, the iPhone XC will feature a single rear camera and will be available in multiple color options of red, blue, orange, grey and white. All the three models are expected to be available in China from September 21 onwards. The report also states that the iPhone XS series will arrive with dual-SIM variants at a later date making them the first devices from Apple to bear this functionality.
Apple’s scheduled event on September 12 is set to go live at 10:00 am PST (10.30pm IST) and will take place at the Steve Jobs Theatre in Apple’s new Park Campus in California.
