The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones are expected to get unveiled at an event scheduled to be held in New York on October 9. Google has already sent media invites for the event scheduled for that day. Over the past few weeks, we have seen several leaked renders of the Google Pixel 3 and well as the Pixel 3 XL that has given us a good look at the devices. Now, some press renders of both these devices have appeared online. These renders clearly show us the substantially large notch display of the Google Pixel 3 XL and the absence of the feature on the smaller Pixel 3. It also shows the back panel of the devices which sports a single camera along with a fingerprint sensor.
The press renders have been leaked by Dutch website Nieuwemobiel. As per the renders, the Google Pixel 3 is expected to arrive with a 5.4-inch display while the Google Pixel 3 XL will sport a larger 6.2-inch display. The Pixel 3 XL will also feature a notch display while the smaller Pixel 3 will not come with a notch and will have thick bezels on the top and bottom of the display panel.
The renders also show the back panel of these devices which seem to feature a fabric case. The rear panels feature a single camera along with an LED flash, while both the devices feature dual front-facing cameras. This makes us believe that Google will provide some sort of bokeh effect with the front cameras.
The home screen of both the devices reveals that they may run on Android 9 Pie out of the box although the Google search bar has been placed at the bottom. Apart from that, new wallpaper is also seen on these phones that signify the third generation of Google smartphones.
As per earlier reports, Google may launch a new Green color version of these handsets along with the Black, White and Blue color options. The Google Pixel 3 XL was also spotted to be left behind in a Lyft cab in the US a couple of weeks ago.
