Chinese technology firm Lenovo has expanded its ThinkPad E range of laptops in India by launching the ThinkPad E480 laptop. Intended for small and medium scale businesses and startups, the Lenovo ThinkPad E480 is powered by 8th generation Intel core processor and also features a maximum of 32GB RAM. The laptop features a sturdy build body that is splash resistant and comes with 11-grade military build specifications. It is also powered by a large battery pack that can fuel the unit for more than 13 hours and also features a fingerprint sensor as a security measure. The Lenovo ThinkPad E480 has been priced at Rs 32,999 in India.
The ThinkPad E480 sports a 14-inch full HD IPS LCD display. It is available in multiple variants in terms of processors and the option to choose between 8th generation Intel Core i3, i5 and i7 chipsets with up to 8M cache and 1.8GHz clock speed. The laptop runs on Windows 10 and features a maximum of 32GB RAM. Buyers can also avail an optional AMD Radeon RX 500 dedicated graphics card and 2GB DDR5 video memory. The laptop features a dual-drive functionality to add up to 512GB PCIe M2 SSD and another 512GB HDD. Lenovo has provided a spill-resistant six-row optically backlit keyboard with a TrackPoint point device.
The laptop also features Dolby Advanced speakers for providing a surround sound experience and is powered by a 3 cell battery pack that can deliver power for more than 13 hours. The battery also supports Quick charge functionality and as an additional security measure, it also features a fingerprint scanner.
