The Moto G6 Plus mid-range smartphone from Lenovo owned Motorola is set to launch in India today. The handset was launched globally in Brazil back in April 018 and now it is all set to debut in the country. It may be recalled that the Moto G6 Plus was unveiled alongside two other smartphones, Moto G6, and Moto G6 Play. Those two handsets had already made their way to the country. The key features of the Moto G6 Plus include a larger display, powerful processor, larger RAM capacity and more storage space.
Coming to the price, Motorola is yet to announce the price of the Moto G6 Plus in India. However, the smartphone was launched in Brazil with a price tag of EUR 299 (Rs 24,400 approximately). It was launched in two color options of Gold and Indigo but it is not clear which color options will be available in India. For comparison, the Moto G6 carries a price tag of Rs 13,999 in India for the 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant and Rs 15,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant. The Moto G6 Play, on the other hand, comes with a price tag of Rs 11,999 for the #GB RAM variant with 32GB of inbuilt storage.
To recall the specifications of the Moto G6 Plus, it comes with a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 X 2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 630SoC with Adreno 508 GPU and coupled with 4GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the smartphone features a dual rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel sensor for taking selfies and video calling.
The Moto G6 Plus comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage space which can be further upgraded with the help of a micro-SD card. Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack. It is powered by a 3,200mAh battery under the hood that supports fast charging and the phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
