Nokia 9 is expected to be the next flagship device from the Finnish company and may arrive with as many as five camera sensors on the rear panel. All the camera sensors are expected to feature Zeiss optic lenses. In an interesting development, the Nokia 9 has been spotted on Samsung’s Latvia website. The phone appears in the buyback section of the page and has been listed as a buyback offer. The phone is expected to arrive in single SIM and dual SIM variants as per the Samsung website. However, there has been no confirmation from HMD Global, the licensee of Nokia smartphones about the launch of the Nokia 9.
As per the buyback offer page on Samsung’s Latvia/Estonia website, first spotted by renowned tipster Roland Quandt on Twitter, the Nokia 9 is expected to arrive soon with up to 128GB of inbuilt storage. However, there has been no confirmation about this claim from official sources or HMD Global and the image could have been posted as Samsung could be outsourcing its buyback scheme to a third-party vendor. The page further states that users will get up to EUR 292 (Rs 24,500 approximately) off on exchanging the 128GB variant of the Nokia 9.
Earlier this month, live images of the alleged Nokia 9 was leaked online which showed that the device will arrive with as many as five cameras on the rear panel. These sensors will feature Zeiss powered lenses along with a Xenon flash module. A seventh cutout was also seen to be present on the rear panel but the functionality is still not clear.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nokia 9 is expected to feature a 6.1-inch full HD+ display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage space. It is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor making it the first Nokia device to do so. It may run on Android 9 Pie out of the box and will be part of the Android One programme by Google.
