Lenovo had launched the Lenovo S5 back in March this year, and now it looks all set to unveil its successor, the Lenovo S5 Pro. The company has announced that it is going to unveil the Lenovo S5 Pro on October 18. The teaser poster shared by the company reveals that the smartphone will sport a dual front camera setup. Notably, the Lenovo S5 featured only a single camera on the front panel, while it has a dual camera module on the rear panel. The specifications of Lenovo S5 Pro have also been leaked on Chinese certification site TENAA.
Coming to the teaser poster first, Lenovo has shared the poster on Chinese microblogging website Weibo to confirm the October 18 launch date. The poster shows an outline of the upcoming smartphone with a dual front camera module. As per the listing spotted on TENAA, the device will feature a 6.18-inch full HD+ display, 3,500maH battery, octa-core processor, dual front and rear cameras and multiple variants in terms of RAM and internal storage.
The TENAA listing reveals that the Lenovo S5 Pro carrying model number L58041 will feature a 6.18-inch full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio display. It will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor and will be available in multiple variants in terms of RAM and internal storage space. The options are 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB inbuilt storage. The internal storage can be further upgraded with the help of a micro-SD card.
On the optics front, the Lenovo S5 Pro will feature a dual front camera setup comprising of a 20-megapixel primary and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an LED flash. On the rear, it will feature a dual camera module of a 20-megapixel primary and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor accompanied by an LED flash. It will be powered by a 3,500mAh battery under the hood and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.
