Cupertino based conglomerate Apple has officially launched its new Nike+ Apple Watch Series 4 models. This new model will be up for preorders along with other Apple Watch Series 4 models from October 14. However, the Nike+ model is expected to be released at a later date than the other models, so if you want to get your hands on this variant you will have to wait for some more time.
The folks at MacRumors got their hands on the Nike+ Apple Watch Series 4 smartwatch and have shared a video on their site to reveal the design elements and specifications. In addition, the smartwatch also comes with new reflective bands and watch faces and it looks identical to the standard Apple Watch Series 4 models in terms of the design elements.
Talking about the design elements, the smartwatch features an Aluminum case with Ion-X glass protection on top to protect the display panel from scratches. The price of the Nike+ Apple Watch Series 4 is similar to the standard Apple Watch Series 4 models and it will be available in two color options of Silver and Space Gray. The watch will be available in 40mm and 44mm dial sizes.
Talking about the new reflective bands, the smartwatch features two perforated Sports Bands and two new Sports Loops which are made up of reflective fabric. Interestingly this is a new edition that has been rolled out to this year’s Apple Watch Series 4 models. The company has claimed that the new Sports Loops have been woven with reflective thread material that reflects lights falling on it, giving it a shimmery look. These bands are exclusively available for the Nike+ Apple Watch Series 4 and cannot be purchased separately.
Apart from the bands, Apple has also introduced new watch faces on the Nike+ model which are not available in the regular Apple Watch Series 4 models. The model also features a digital watch face along with an analog one that can be customized with different colors as per the choice of the users.
