Vodafone India, which recently completed its merger with Idea Cellular has now launched two new prepaid plans to rival its competitors and allure, new customers. These plans have been designed to provide unlimited local, STD and roaming call benefits to its subscribers.
As per a report by TelecomTalk, Vodafone has launched two prepaid packs priced at Rs 99 and Rs 109 to offer unlimited calling benefits to its subscribers. Since these plans have been affordably priced, even budget subscribers will be able to enjoy them by availing these plans.
Under this new plan of Rs 99, the company is offering unlimited local, STD and roaming call benefits to its subscribers. The plan, however, does not provide any free data and is valid for 28 days. The Rs 109 plan, on the other hand, provides unlimited local, STD and roaming calls across all networks along with 1GB of 2G/3G/4G data with the same validity of 28 days. However, there is a FUP limit of 250 minutes per day on both these plans.
Meanwhile, Vodafone-Idea after their merger has announced their partnership with digital payments platform Paytm to offer cashback benefits to its customers. Under this offer, customers of both Vodafone and Idea who does a recharge of a minimum of Rs 149 for the first time via Paytm will receive an instant cashback of Rs 25. Existing customers will get a cashback of Rs 20 on recharging via Paytm.
In addition, customers will also get vouchers from Paytm worth Rs 375 which can be used to purchase movie tickets or shop on Paytm Mall. Vodafone has also introduced a new scheme called AllRounder Recharge which is a combo offer for prepaid customers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu circles. Under this scheme, customers will get talk time, data benefits and discounted calling tariffs with a single recharge starting at Rs 25.
