Chinese conglomerate Huawei is on a roll this year and has been churning out handsets on a big number. After releasing Huawei Mate 8, Huawei Mate 6 and the Nexus 6P, Huawei is planning on to launch another smartphone coined as Huawei P9 Max. This Huawei P9 Max is believed to be the successor of another superb smartphone, Huawei P8. Company is also planning to launch a sibling handset of this Huawei P9 Max, the Huawei P9.

This much speculated large-screen smartphone, Huawei P9 Max has appeared on AnTuTu benchmarks recently and revealed us partial informations on the specifications of the phone. The benchmark results also mentioned the inclusion of company’s recently launched Kirin 950 SoC chipset.
Huawei P9 Max Features
Huawei P9 Max, which went through AnTuTu benchmarks as the P9 50S moniker would be sporting a whooping 6.2-inch screen size protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and with 1600×2560 pixel resolution display. This phablet will come with an amazing 487ppi pixel density. The AnTuTu benchmark results also indicated the inclusion of Huawei’s home-brewed octa-core Kirin 950 processor coupled with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and 4GB RAM. For your information, the Kirin 950 SoC was unveiled by the company last week in an event in Beijing. The Kirin 950 SoC features four Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.8GHz.
The AnTuTu benchmark results also revealed that the Huawei P9 Max would run on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will come with the 64GB of inbuilt storage, under the hood and might be expanded up to 256 GB via microSD. This phablet scored an impressive 73,759 in the benchmark test, while the 3D graphics score was 16,822.
Some more speculations about Huawei P9 Max suggest that it might come with an incredible 20 MP rear camera with dual LED Flash & will have an 8 MP Front camera. The primary camera flaunts Sony sensors and amazing pixel resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels, and will come with auto focus, touch focus, face detection, panorama, and Geo-tagging features. According to the rumors, the back camera is also capable of shooting HD videos at 2160p@30 fps, 1080 p @60 fps.
Huawei P9 Max is rumored to be powered by a Non-removable Li-Po 4360 mAh and will also sport a fingerprint sensor. Connectivity wise this phone will support 4G LTE connectivity and will come with WIFI 802.11 a/b/g/n, WIFI Direct, Accelerometer, proximity, gyro, compass and other modern day features.
Huawei P9 Max Release Date
Huawei has not officially declared the release date of Huawei P9 Max, but we are speculating that the phone might hit the market in the second quarter of 2016.

As like release date, the company did not spill the bin about the official price of Huawei P9 Max too. But according to our speculations and following the current trend of the company we can assume the phone will cost Rs.35000 to Rs.40000, in the Indian currency.
