While the whole smartphone industry was expecting Vivo to launch the flagship Vivo XPlay 5S, the successor of the XPlay 3S, in early November, the Chinese smartphone maker surprised the smartphone enthusiasts with a teaser image on its Weibo account that reveals a gift box with Vivo X6 written on top of it.
Apart from the handset’s name on top of the gift box, nothing else has been revealed by Vivo. However, rumors indicate that the Vivo X6 will be the first smartphone to sport a dedicated 1GB graphic RAM.

The Vivo X6 may also flaunt a whooping 6-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution & 490 ppi and will be protected by 2.5 D Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood,the phone is expected to power with a Helio X20 deca-core processor coupled with a 4GB of RAM. The Vivo X6 is expected to offer support for dual SIM and LTE connectivity also the phone will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The upcoming Vivo mobile phone will also come with the Force Touch technology, which is seen earlier on the ZTE Axon Mini and Huawei Mate 8. The Vivo X6 is speculated to be geared up with a 21MP rear-facing shooter along with dual tone LED flash and a 12MP selfie camera. The phone will also offer a physical shutter button for faster access to the camera app and capturing photos. Along with this staggering camera quality, the handset will also provide their customers Geotagging, Autofocus, 4K Recording (2160p), FHD Recording (1080p) opportunity.
If rumors are to be believed, then the all new Vivo X6 will house a 4,000mAh battery that will offer one full day of usage. The handset is also estimated to be equipped with dual speakers with Hi-Fi chip for better sound input.
According to the various reports, another extraordinary feature of the phone is going to be that the Vivo X6 will be just 4mm, or 0.15 inch thick, but will include a 3.5mm audio jack. If the rumors about the thickness of the phone turn out to be true then the X6 will be one of the thinnest mobile phones available in the market.
