Google Pixel XL: We have got new news on Google’s next generation flagship smartphone. New reports suggests that the Google Pixel XL (also known as Nexus Marlin)will be priced at $649. We don’t know if the price is that of the 128 GB or the 32 GB storage configuration.

According to a post on Twitter from David Ruddock of Android Police, Google Pixel XL will reportedly be priced at $649.
To recall, Google introduced its first smartphone, the Nexus One, in January 2010. They partnered with HTC to make the handset. Over the years Google has partnered with several Android smartphone and tablet makers to produce its Nexus lineup. Now the company is going solo and perhaps putting an end to the Nexus brand.
Rumours have been around for several months but the first concrete evidence for the existence of Pixel phones came when Google changed the name of the of Nexus Launcher on Google Play Store.
We previously reported that Pixel smartphone will launch on October 4. The Sailfish device will be 5-inch while Pixel XL will be the 5.5-inch Marlin smartphone. The report also adds that both smartphones will be touted as the “first phones built by Google.” Another report claims that the new Google phones will cost more than Nexus. The devices will share quad-core Qualcomm processors, 4GB of RAM, and 12-megapixel cameras. The Pixel XL will carry a larger battery. According to Android Authority, the Google Pixel measures “143.8mm x 69.5mm x 7.3mm at its thinnest point (the bottom) while it is 8.5mm at the thickest point (the top).”
Along with the Pixel and Pixel XL smartphones, Google is expected to launch a brand new 4K Chromecast that can stream content in 4K and might be dubbed Chromecast Plus or Chromecast Ultra, on October 4th .
